We are in Peru, not the whole family, but the family we have left "at home", which is Mike, Ruth, Sam and I. We left yesterday at noon, and are in Lima now. Tonight we will take a bus north to Trujillo. From there we go to Otuzco (NOT Cuzco--that is in the south), where we will spend the next month and a half. We are working with an organization called Vive Peru, and will be working in the hospitals and in the schools. Otuzco is in the foothills of the Andes, east of Trujillo, and is at about 8400 feet.
We will be in Peru until December 19th. Our adventures have begun!
