The things that are not the same are not good things. Sam has been puking all night, and still feels terrible today. I think it is from dinner last night, because Sam had seconds, and is the sickest. Ruth feels a little bad, probably because she only had firsts, and I am not sick at all, probably because I did not eat it.
I did slam my finger in the door this morning, and have a huge amount of blood under the nail making it really hurt. Along with oral rehydration and pills for Sam, I got a needle from the pharmacy and am trying to talk Ruth into drilling a hole in my nail to release the pressure. I havent been successful yet, even if she says she wants to be a physician in the future.
There are many things to be thankful for. We were going to eat at the restaurant El Pavo (The Turkey) today in honor of Thanksgiving, but for now, I will be happy if Sam and Ruth just get some fluids down. I will try to take some time to think of the things I am grateful for at some point during this day.
Send some comments of what you are thankful for to remind me!!
| Peruvian turkeys. I wonder if they made it past Thanksgiving. We did see a live turkey bundled in our bag and loaded on top of our van on the way from Otuzco to Trujillo... |

I am thankful for a loving mother who has always been there for me. She has always done her best for me when I was sick, tried to bring me up when I was low, and helped me out when I needed it. Thanks Mom!

If nothing else, you should be able to look back on this Thanksgiving in future years and feel, well, thankful.
