Today we went to Antwerpen, as it is called in Flemish. Belgium is divided into two areas; Flanders, or the Flemish speaking area, in the north, and Wallonia, the French speaking area in the south. I can't understand much of French at all. I can try and say the words, but massacre them because of the pronunciation (think of silent letters, like those found in "bouquet"). However, I have Flemish figured out!! All you have to do is add a vowel or two, and add an "en" at the end. For example, "some books" translates to "sommige boeken". Today in Antwerpen we went shopping, and there were many sales, or "solden" as they are described in Flemish. Plus, there are lots and lots of very old and beautiful buildings, some with malls and stores in them! Oh, and remember, DIAMONDS come from Antwerp! So, after the pictures, be sure to read what I have written in my form of Flemish at the end.
Mikaal: no wooryen, no buuyen diamonden en Antwerpen todaay.

Diamonds come from there, not from Shane Company (;))? I'm glad you have Flemish figured out! It looks amazing there!
