We traveled with my family and took along Ethan's sister Melanie and Lucia, a girl my family knows from their time living in Honduras. And we took quite the detour over to Yellowstone on the way there.
Waiting to see Old Faithful:
Here's the original:

Once we got to Emmett it was time to relax and enjoy time with family on Grandma's farm. We picked fresh corn on the cob and had a big family dinner. We caught up with family and introduced Soren to everyone. We played games. Ethan took a fancy to my Grandpa's old truck:
And we also went horseback riding on Uncle Vaughn's horses with the cousins.
My cousin Gabriel's wife had their baby the same day I had Soren, just a couple hours later. It was cool to see their little girl and to get some four generation shots with babies, moms, grandmothers and Great-Grandma Jensen. My mom and her sister Laurel are too happy to have grandbabies with the same birthday.
Prarie and Soren. I LOVE this shot.
This next picture captures what Idaho in the summer was like for me as a child: jumping in a swimsuit on the trampoline in the hot, late afternoon with the sprinkler on underneath and cousins taking turns squirting each other. Picking raspberries in the garden, and huckleberries in the mountains. Climbing trees and playing "castle" in the play/treehouse. Mistaking one of my aunts for my mother from behind. Eating popsicles and Grandma Jensen's homemade bread. Swimming in the reservior, and games, mostly Stratego and The Farming Game. Fresh corn on the cob, and playing with water skeeters in the irrigation ditch. Family, gathered together.

I am glad you had fun!
In that last picture, you can see me and my butt stick out. That was fun anyway, and Idaho for you as a child is almost the same for me, except we don't pick huckleberries.....
