Reed grandbaby #1

It's a boy!!!!

Ethan and I went in for the 20-week appointment and ultrasound yesterday and needless to say, we were both very excited - as well as everyone else back at home in Utah. We had a good 15 minutes of watching our baby move around inside of me as the ultrasound tech showed us the brain, nose, lips, fingers, arms, tummy, heart, spine, legs, kidneys and took measurements of everything. The baby is healthy and everything is normal. Finally, at the end, it was time to see whether our beautiful baby was a boy or girl. As the ultrasound tech put it, it's a boy, 100 percent! Baby Snyder was more than cooperative, if not proud, to show off his goods.

Most of the Reed children and Mom had all predicted the baby would be a boy. Though I'm not there with them all, I am pretty sure they are all excited to become aunts, uncles and Grandma and Grandpa Reed. I know all of them are going to spoil the little bugger rotten and they're all going to have so much fun with him!

We got a couple short video clips during the ultrasound. In the first one, we're just checking out the baby, and in the second one we find out it's a boy. Please excuse me choking up at the end there - what can I say, I'm happy!
