We are a little "sheepish" about sending your birthday greetings this way, but here they are anyway!
Annie says: "I wish I was there. You're nineteen!?! You still look 6 to me!"
Shelly says: "Life here is not the same without you. At least we have a picture of you opening a present so we can imagine we are there on your birthday."
Mike says" "I hope you have a great birthday! We don't have much snow here--you should come back so we can get some snow!

Ruth says--Michele, I hope you have a good birthday. I am sad we are not there to be with you, or you with us. Everything I remember about you is HAPPY!!

I've just been reading all of this and all I can say is thank you, thank you and thank you.
I don't think you can imagine how much I miss all of you and how much I miss being in Utah, in your family. I had so many good times (except for the wake-up wars with Rachel hahaha)
You made me discover the United States and another way of life.
I had the greatest time in the USA and that's all thanks to you. I will always be grateful for the chance that I had to be a part of your family even for a short while.
It was definitely the BEST year of my life. Thank you for everything!
