Autumn Colors

Here is a picture of the tree and Ruth in front of our house taken a week ago. There are four colors on that tree!! The leaves have continued to change, and the wind blew yesterday, so our tree isn't as glorious anymore.



Something good this week: I finally got passed on my research proposal defense, which I held last APRIL!! Now I am working on getting IRB approval. This doctorate thing is never ending.

Something sad: I found out today that 8th Avenue Meat and Grocery is closing for sure on Christmas Eve. I guess those two fresh turkeys I have ordered will be my last--at least from Bill's. It is the end of an era.
